What Reflexology Can Help With?
Reflexology works by applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet that correspond to areas of the body. Many clients choose reflexology to help with:
Stress and Anxiety
Reflexology can help calm the nervous system and encourage the body to shift out of the stress response. Gentle pressure on specific points helps release tension, slow the mind, and create a deep sense of quiet. Many clients describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded after each session.
Sleep Issues
Poor sleep often comes from overstimulation or difficulty winding down. Reflexology supports the body’s natural relaxation processes, helping you settle into a more restful rhythm. Regular treatments may improve sleep quality, reduce nighttime restlessness, and make it easier to drift off.
Hormonal Changes
Hormonal fluctuations can affect mood, energy, and overall wellbeing. Reflexology works with the areas of the feet linked to the endocrine system, helping promote balance and stability. Many clients find it useful during times of transition or when hormones feel unpredictable.
Menopause and Peri Menopause Symptoms
Hot flushes, mood changes, disrupted sleep, and tension can all be connected to this stage of life. Reflexology offers a calm, nurturing approach to easing these symptoms. It supports a greater sense of steadiness, helping you navigate hormonal shifts with more comfort and confidence.
Digestive Discomfort
Stress and digestive issues often go hand in hand. Reflexology may help calm the digestive system by supporting relaxation and improving overall balance. Gentle work on the related reflex points can ease bloating, tension, or sluggishness.
General aches and tension
Many clients experience everyday aches in the shoulders, back, legs, or feet. Reflexology encourages circulation, releases built-up tension, and helps the whole body unwind. It is a soothing, non invasive way to ease tightness and support natural recovery.
Overall Relaxation
The calming environment, rhythmic pressure, and gentle techniques combine to bring your body into a deeply relaxed state. This can help improve mood, quiet the mind, and give you space to breathe away from the noise of daily life.
Emotional Balance
Reflexology supports emotional wellbeing by giving the nervous system time to reset. Clients often leave feeling more centred, clearer in their thoughts, and better able to respond to everyday challenges. Regular sessions can help maintain a more stable emotional baseline.

What to Expect During Your Session
Your initial consultation will include taking a brief medical history and discussing a tailored plan for your sessions.
During your treatment you will be sitting or laying back in a reclined position while I apply
comfortable and firm pressure to either the feet or hands, working the reflex points.
The treatment will last about an hour. It is a relaxing treatment during which many clients enjoy to chat, others prefer being still and quiet and some even drift off to sleep, whichever you prefer is fine.
It is advisable to have a minimum of four treatments (one per week) to begin with, giving the body time to respond.
